The Studio

Established in 1989 in Studio City, and for the last 15 years located in Los Angeles’ NoHo Arts District. This San Fernando Valley location was chosen for its proximity to the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, as well as many thriving live theatres and the ultimate stop of the all-new Los Angeles subway system.

After extensive renovations, the former small manufacturing location became recognized as the most dynamic studio/gallery catering to Hollywood’s acting community. The 4,000 square foot space was designed to underline the guiding principles of SAM CHRISTENSEN STUDIOS: respect, safety, openness and productivity.

The light and space enhance a feeling of creative interaction for the actors, artists and others who visit and study here. The building is also home to The Hollywood Headshot Gallery. The photographs on display in the Studio’s lobby add graphically to the creative and visual environment and provide visitors the opportunity to view the work of Hollywood’s best headshot and portrait photographers.

Visitors are welcome – the studio is open from 11 am to 8:30 pm, Monday thru Thursday, from 11 am to 6 pm on Fridays and by appointment on the weekends.
